Description
Villa Aquamarine is a magnificent sea-front holiday home, very carefully designed to emphasize its stunning panoramic position, with thrilling views over the sea.
A gorgeous and colorful garden surrounds to propriety, with an astonishing direct access to the clear waters of the Mediterranean just a few steps away from the villa’s terraces.
Inside
There is a clever blend of classical and modern furnishing and styles, highlighted by the superb use of wood, subtly hint at old-style galeon interiors, refined to claim their rightful place in a contemporary world house.
The living area is in direct contact with its spectacular surroundings, thanks to a large picture window that also floods the interior with natural light reaching all the way into the spacious, fully- equipped kitchen that opens onto the rear of the property.
The three comfortable bedrooms lead off from the living area and two of these are blessed with amazing views over the bay thanks to the wide, wooden-framed windows. The three bathrooms are each fitted with a shower cabin.
Outside
Relaxing in the garden embraced by the soft sounds of the sea, while your eyes are free to rove over the horizon, is the experience this unique villa has been designed for.
The Villa’s clever styling echoes the countless tales the infinite blue sea evokes and in its unmistakable naval style it is the perfect complement for your seaside holiday.
Outside, large and spacious terraces let you fully enjoy the incredible position, with an area of relax as well as a fully-equipped outdoor cooking facility ready to welcome you on those warm Sicilian days.
Just a few steps from the house, dedicated wooden paths lead directly into the sea. One of these paths is equipped with a further area of relax, complete with sunbeds: a perfect place for snoozing or reading away your day, while the sun reflects on the crystal-clear water in front of you. The wooden paths are available only in the summer season from mid June to mid September.
Villa Aquamarine is situated inside a well-kept residence with custodians, the residence being also equipped with a restaurant which is open in July and August, it is within a short walking distance from the house.
Moreover, the owner of this villa offers the possibility to park your car in his private parking in Palermo city center, should you need to spend a day in the city.

The Area
Located close to Palermo, Villa Aquamarine is perfect for a holiday in Western Sicily. Not far from the house is Terrasini, a lovely little fishing village where you can find very nice restaurants and shops. Sicily’s capital city, Palermo, with its numerous attractions is only 12 km away. You can enjoy the magnificence of this city by walking along the old “Cassaro” to the Cathedral following the Arab Norman Itinerary which is under UNESCO World Heritage protection and includes the Norman Palace and its astonishing Palatine Chapel. To fully appreciate the uniqueness of the Arab Norman style defined by Unesco as “an outstanding example of a socio-cultural syncretism between Western, Islamic, and Byzantine cultures” and the “celebration of the fruitful coexistence of people of different origins”, we also suggest you visit the Cathedrals of Monreale and Cefalú. In Cefalù we also recommend a nice walk through the characteristic narrow streets full of shops and restaurants and relax on the long sandy beach. From Villa Aquamarine you can also easily reach Castellammare del Golfo and Scopello and the beautiful Zingaro Nature Reserve, and do not forget to stop off at the old Baglio in Scopello and have a pane cunzatu snack before leaving! Not far from Castellammare is one of the archaeological sites not be missed when travelling in this part of the island, Segesta and its Doric temple, one of the best-preserved Greek temples in Europe. Trapani with its famous Salt Pans and the medieval, hill-top village of Erice, also famous for the stunning view over the Egadi Islands lie about 80km to the west. For lovely days on comfortable sandy beaches, we suggest the nearby Magaggiari beach in Cinisi, Mondello beach in Palermo or San Vito Lo Capo’s splendid white sandy beach which also affords access to the Zingaro Nature Reserve.

Phantastische Unterkunft!
Phantastische Unterkunft mit wunderbarem Blick auf das Meer. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt, wir hatten einen sehr entspannten Aufenthalt.
Sig. Vitale war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir können die Villa uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Aquamarine is wondefull. The sea view is incredible the location of the villa is both convenient and secure. The host is kind and accomodating and we would absolutely stay there again.

La maison convenait parfaitement

Villa Aquamarine via Select Sicily
The company, Select Sicily, were always helpful, cooperative and willing to help out with queries, difficulties and general enquiries about anything to do with our booking at Villa Aquamarine in Sicily. The villa was as described. It was comfortable, spacious and had all of the conveniences we could require for our two week stay, not to mention the stunning sea-view out over the bay towards Carini. Service at the villa was first class with respect to cleaning and change of linen. The owner, Mr Vitale, was also extremely helpful and a joy to talk with. He ensured the garden was also kept tidy and clean in addition to being an excellent source of local information and advice. We would use Select Sicily again and also stay again at Villa Aquamarine.

The sea view from this house is amazing!
The sea view from this house is amazing! The house is just as the pictures show. The bathrooms are clean and modern, bedrooms great, and kitchen fully equipped. We cooked on the outdoor grill every night, and ate at the outside table to enjoy the sea view and breeze. The rooftop has amazing views! The neighborhood is very clean and safe. There is a gate that secures the neighborhood, we never felt unsafe. The owner is so kind and friendly! We had an issue that 2 of the bedroom AC units were broken when we arrived. The owner replaced the units with brand new ones, we were very impressed! So book now, the AC works amazing! Thank you Marcello for letting us stay at your fantastic home!

Uns hat der Aufenthalt in der Villa sehr gut gefallen.
Uns hat der Aufenthalt in der Villa sehr gut gefallen. Sie liegt in einer Gated Community, direkt der Wasserseite eines abgeschlossenen Bereiches mit gepflegten Villen. Das Haus ist geräumig und mit 3 Bädern auch für eine mittelgroße Gruppe geeignet. Auf der großen Terrasse mit schönem Meerblick lässt es sich sehr gut aushalten. Leider war bei unserer Ankunft das große Panoramafenster im Wohnzimmer durch die vorherigen Gäste beschädigt worden, so dass es nicht zu öffnen war. Der sehr nette Hausbesitzer Marcello hat sich bemüht, dass die Reparatur ganz schnell vorgenommen wurde. Danke. Das Haus liegt direkt an der Wasserseite, wo in den felsigen Strandbereich Holzpodeste eingebaut sind, auf denen man liegen kann und von denen aus man sehr gut über Leitern ins Meer zum Schwimmen gehen kann.

"Acquamarine", vacanza da sogno
Non scrivo molte recensioni, ma per la nostra vacanza siciliana trascorsa a Carini, con gli amici di sempre, nella residenza "Acquamarine" non posso proprio farne a meno. Location incredibile, affacciata sul mare e baciata dal sole tutto il giorno, immersa nella quiete e nella tranquillità, elegantemente e sapientemente arredata, molto pulita, dotata di una cucina fornitissima, da far invidia agli chef stellati, ma soprattutto comoda per 3 coppie un po datate come noi che cerchiamo il confort e la possibilità di divertirci e far festa senza farci mancare nulla.
Quì abbiamo trovato tutto questo e non solo. Abbiamo avuto il piacere e l'onore di conoscere il proprietario, il Sig. Marcello la cui disponibilità, generosità e cortesia ci ha piacevolmente colpiti per non dire sorpresi: grazie alla disponibilità di un suo garage nel pieno centro di Palermo, ci ha permesso di andare comodamente a cena in una trattoria tipica, irraggiungibile senza il suo prezioso aiuto. Ma così è. Questa è la Sicilia che amiamo, che vogliamo noi e che vorremmo tutti conoscano.

A great place
We had a wonderful family reunion in this villa, which was exactly what we needed. Swimming at the bottom of the garden, well equipped and furnished and in a great location about half an hour from Palermo. Two nice restaurants and a gelateria within easy walking distance. Perfect.

Wonderful stay

Tolles Haus, tolle Lage , perfekter Urlaub
Die Villa Aquamarine ist ein Traumhaus. Die Lage direkt am Wasser ist perfekt, die Aussicht wunderschön. Das Haus hat alles, was ein gutes Ferienhaus ausmacht und ist perfekt ausgestattet. Es hat nichts gefehlt. Die vielen Sitzgelegenheiten um das Haus und auf dem Dach - in Sonne und Schatten - ermöglichen einen fantastischen Aufenthalt und es gibt immer einen Ort, wo man sich, unterwegs mit einer Gruppe oder einer großen Familie, zurückziehen kann. Ein gutes Restaurant, ein kleiner Laden für Getränke und eine Eisdiele sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Für Ausflüge nach Monreale, Palermo, Terrasini, Castellamare del Golfo oder Erice braucht man ein Auto. Die Agentur und auch Besitzer Marcello waren zu jeder Zeit freundlich und absolut zuverlässig. Wir können die Villa Aquamarine bestens empfehlen. W. aus Deutschland

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa…
We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Aquamarine. This one was recently renovated with taste and quality. The equipment is very complete. Everything was absolutely clean.
The roof terrace is super nice. The view of the sea and the mountains across the bay is magnificent and was a daily visual treat for us during the whole month that we stayed at the villa.
The owner is a very nice man and gave us several excellent recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. He was very attentive to us.
We have only good things to say about our rental experience with Select Sicily Villas.

Highly recomend
Our family stayed for a week and had amazing time. Villa were clean and spaciuos with big terrass facing the sea and mountains, also huge one on top of the roof. Villa is equipped for confortable stay. Villa is located in private, safe, closed and quiet area of villas with several shared access to the sea with wooden terrases on the cliffs. The owner of the property Marcello was really helpfull and kind. We definetelly will come back and highly recomend this villa for holidays. Best regards from Lithuania, Kestuti

Alcuni posti tu rimangono nel cuore…
Ho soggiornato in questa splendida villa nella seconda settimana di Agosto, altissima stagione, e mai avrei pensato di poter fare il bagno a mare in solitudine il 13 o 14 Agosto, bè qui è possibile. L’ accesso al mare è roccioso ma è agevolato da una serie di pensiline in legno, attrezzate con ombrelloni e sdraio, ad uso esclusivo dei clienti del comprensorio, La cornice naturale è stupenda e la posizione è strategica essendo a poco più di una ventina di Km da Palermo e prossimo ad altri posti incantevoli come Scopello e la riserva dello Zingaro o Erice.
La villa è a dir poco magnifica, tre camere da letto matrimoniali, salone con ampia vetrata e vista diretta sulla baia, cucina attrezzatissima con Frigo enorme che ci ha consentito di fare una grossa spesa iniziale e ridurre quindi le puntate al Market, tre bagni, una zona esterna ed un giardino curatissimi con prato all’ inglese dove potersi rilassare, leggere e prendere il sole. Sei accaldato? Nessun problema. Esci dal cancelletto, fai si e no una ventina di passi e sei sullo scoglio pronto a tuffarti in un’acqua verde smeraldo.
È possibile ovviamente mangiare e rilassarsi nella veranda o se sei mattiniero, sederti sul salottino e goderti il sorgere del sole che fa capolino dietro il promontorio e si riflette sul mare mentre le barche ondeggiano dolcemente.
C’è anche una cucina esterna con forno e barbecue che onestamente non ho utilizzato perché negato con il fuoco.
Il sig. Vitale, proprietario della casa, è un vero padrone di casa…mi ha affidato la sua “casa” come una mamma affida la sua creatura, sempre disponibile e prontissimo per qualsiasi esigenza.
Sarà stata la bellezza del posto, la comodità della casa e le temperature roventi che non invogliavano a fare tour itineranti, ma in quella settimana ci siamo mossi pochissimo ( La Sicilia la conoscevamo già essendo questa la nostra quarta incursione sull’isola ) ma ci siamo rilassati tantissimo e goduti il mare lontani dagli assembramenti delle spiagge agostane.
Un grazie al Sig. Vitale con la promessa che la nostra quinta incursione sull’isola ci vedrà nuovamente passare di qua.

Wir haben im Oktober für zwei Wochen…
Wir haben im Oktober für zwei Wochen das Ferienhaus Aquamarine gemietet. Die Lage ist einmalig schön, direkt am Meer, sehr ruhig und das Haus ist gut ausgestattet. Der Aussenbereich ist super und man kann sowohl im Schatten als auch in der Sonne den Tag genießen. Der Vermieter hat uns in den zwei Wochen jede Unterstützung zukommen lassen und war ausgesprochen freundlich und bemüht.

Merveilleux séjour
La villa est située dans une résidence privée et sécurisée 24/24h. La villa offre un accès direct à la mer via des plateformes aménagées, vous pouvez plonger directement dans une eau transparente au bout du jardin. La villa est très bien équipée, confortable et bien climatisée en cas de forte chaleur. Nous avons passé un séjour fantastique et en toute sécurité. Le propriétaire est un homme charmant qui saura tout vous expliquer dans les moindres détails pour faciliter votre séjour. L'accès depuis l'aéroport est très rapide (moins de 10 minutes) et l'accès à Palerme est très rapide également. A louer sans hésitation.
