Is Sicily a nice place to visit as a tourist?
Sicily is definitively one of the best places to visit in the world. It is a unique island, influenced by the most important civilizations in history, from the Greeks to the Arabs and all the many European dominations. It is well-known for the rich artistic and cultural heritage, for the food and for its charming beaches. But Sicily is much more than that.
What places should I visit in Sicily?
There are so many must-see/must-do attractions to visit in Sicily. If you’re looking for a relaxing holiday overlooking the sea, discovering centuries of history and hidden treasures, here you can find a mixture of these features. Palermo is known for its culture, history and architecture; Agrigento for the magnificent temples, the province of Trapani for the beautiful beaches and archaeological sites; Taormina for its ancient Greek theatre and Isola Bella; and the list continues. How can I get to Sicily?
The best way to reach Sicily from abroad is by aeroplane. The airports are situated in Palermo, Catania, Trapani and Comiso (Ragusa), with daily national and international flights arrivals and departures. For other details, you can check the Flights to Sicily page.

Where can I check villas availability?

What amenities are included?
Every villa has its features. Energy bills are included in the price unless otherwise stated. The price list also tells you if final cleaning is included. Eventual additional services like daily and weekly cleaning, extra linen changes can be requested. However, please check the amenities in the details of the villa.
Where can I check rates?
You can check rates in the specific section of the villa. Please note that every villa has its own rates based on seasonality.
What is the maximum capacity of your villas?
Our selection includes small properties, medium and large villas. In the details of each villa, you can check the number of guests in the resume table above. You can also find the maximum number of guests in the brief description below the photo when you search for a property.

Yes, we’ve got an exclusive selection of luxury apartments located in fascinating Sicilian towns.
How can I book a villa?
Booking a villa with Select Sicily is very simple. You can send an enquiry directly from the description of the villa after you’ve checked its availability. You can reserve your stay once we’ve confirmed your booking. We created a detailed section about how to book to understand better the entire process.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept the following payment methods:

Is there a rental deposit?
Upon confirmation of your booking, we must receive a 30% deposit of the total cost of your booking within 3 days and the balance not less than 8 weeks before departure.
Which amenities are included in the price?
Generally, energy bills and final cleaning are included in the price unless otherwise stated. Additional services like daily and weekly cleaning, extra linen changes can be requested and paid for locally. However, we suggest you verify what is included or not in the Rates section of every villa.
Are there any additional deposits?
Upon arrival, you must pay a damages deposit in cash to the owner of the property. The deposit will be refunded at departure if no damage has occurred. Otherwise, a reasonable assessment of damage costs will be taken from the deposit.
I'm not able to travel to Sicily. Can I cancel my reservation?
You have the right to cancel your reservation 56 days prior to departure or more. You must notify us by special delivery or email during our business hours (i.e. not on Sunday or when our office is closed). The cancellation charge of 30% of the total invoice is applicable.
You have also the right to cancel from 56 to 43 days before departure paying 60% of the total invoice. If you want to cancel your confirmed booking from 42 to 28 days you must pay 80% of the invoice; a request for cancellation made 27 days or less before departure must be paid in full.
When can I check-in and check-out?
Check-in is between 3 and 7 pm and check-out is before 10 am. If you cannot arrive within these hours you must contact the key holder at the number written on your travel document who, at their discretion, will fix a new appointment.
Is there a minimum stay?
Unless otherwise stated, there is a minimum stay of 7 days for the villas, while for the apartments you must book for minimum 3 days. Check anyway the details in the villa description. In the high season arrival and departure is from Saturday to Saturday.
I cannot arrive within established arrival time. What can I do?
Contact the key holder at the number indicated on your travel document and he will fix a new appointment.
What happens if we accidentally damage something?
We hope that it will never occur. However, in these unfortunate events, we will hold a percentage of the cash deposit paid at the time of arrival based on an assessment of the damage.
