In the Main House, accommodation is set on two floors for a total of eight bedrooms, seven twin/double rooms and one exclusive suite with a sitting room which opens onto a large, private 45 sq. m terrace overlooking Mount Etna and the gardens below.
All rooms are individually furnished and decorated with an incredible allure looking back at the vintage charm of the old Sicilian nobility.
All of the rooms have ensuite bathroom and either a balcony or access to the garden.  A living area with a small library where you can relax enjoying the books provided by the owners is on the Upper Garden floor. A stroll in the landscaped garden will bring you to the Old bakery house where there are two more bedrooms and a living room. Everything is decorated in accordance with the charming elegance of the entire adobe.
Leaving the accomodation from the main house a short, relaxing walk will bring you to the Dining Pool House.

The Area

Surrounded by inebriating citrus groves typical of Eastern Sicily this villa is in the perfect location for day trips to the top attractions of Catania, Siracusa, Taormina and Mount Etna, recently declared a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The closest town to the villa is Scordìa at about 10 km where you will find shops and restaurants.
Also within easy reach are the late-Baroque towns listed as UNESCO World Heritage sites.
The vibrant city of Catania is only 30 minutes away, do not miss a visit to the old fish market “La Pescheria” to get a feel of the real soul of this city. Then try the “Bellini Theatre” and “Castello Ursino” or take a stroll along the “Via Etnea” for some good shopping. Within one hour you can reach Mount Etna, the largest active volcano in Europe with an elevation of over 3300 meters, a unique place where it is possible to ski with a view of the sea.
A bit further and you can enjoy the amazing Greek theater and some delightful shopping in Taormina.
Within an hour’s drive is one of the main tourist hotspots in Sicily, Piazza Armerina and the famous Roman mosaics of Villa del Casale. But also the island of Ortigia in Siracusa with its charming mix of styles, Greek and Roman but also Norman, Medieval, and Baroque. The island of Ortigia is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Still in the southern part we suggest a day trip in the Vendicari Nature Reserve, a protected habitat for migratory species with beautiful, un-spoilt beaches such as Calamosche and Eloro.

Do not forget a visit to Caltagirone which is only a 40-minute drive. This town is famous for its craft pottery and its fabulous Santa Maria del Monte flight of steps – a straight flight of 142 steps decorated with thousands of differently designed and coloured tiles on each riser.
Not far from the villa you can also reach the places where the Inspector Montalbano TV series was filmed such as Scicli, Ragusa Ibla, Ragusa and the Punta Secca beach where Montalbano’s house is set.
