Description
This simply elegant and bespoke architect-designed villa with feature infinity pool is nestled on a hillside overlooking an incredibly beautiful stretch of the Sicilian coastline. The house is strategically placed just 3km from both the nearest sandy beach and the splendid historical town centre of Sciacca. This is the perfect place to escape to if you want to experience authentic Sicily.
Inside
The house has a luxurious and modern feel to it, whilst at the same time it is warm and inviting. There are large open beam ceilings and large picture windows all taking full advantage of the settings and views of this property.
From the front door, the unique lava-stone vaulted entrance hall opens into a large, comfortable living/dining area with open plan kitchen providing direct access to a large terrace and garden area. A fantastic elevated living area connects through to the sleeping quarters of the house, where you will find a large double bedroom, modern bathroom with bathtub and a twin-bedded room.
In the lower part of this area, there is a further bathroom with shower that also serves the living/dining room.
A charming self-contained apartment has been recently built in the basement (available from April 2024) It features a very comfortable suite with a spacious private bathroom. All finely decorated with modern design furnitures.
Outside
The large outdoor spaces have been specifically planned for al fresco living complete with stone table and beautiful pergola to provide you with relief from the hot Sicilian sun. An extended paved area in front of the house connects directly with the panoramic infinity pool from where you can appreciate the breathtaking views.
The gardens surrounding the house are filled with an abundance of beautiful Mediterranean plants and flowers: magnolia, rosemary, lavender and wild fennel perfume the air. A stunning rocky area of about 5000 sq. m. of Mediterranean shrub and cacti is a feature part of the property while, to the rear, the same type of terrain is part of a nature reserve.

The Area
This fantastic villa is located close to the delightful town of Sciacca in the province of Agrigento, a perfect position to visit many interesting attractions in the West of Sicily. Sciacca is a lovely fishing town, with wonderful beaches, famous for its coral and ceramics, as well as the Carnival celebrations that take place there every year. Within a short distance of the house, just a 20-minute drive away, are two of the cleanest and most beautiful seaside destinations in Sicily, Eraclea Minoa and Portopalo di Menfi. Castellammare del Golfo and the little old village of Scopello in the Zingaro Nature Reserve can be reached in an hour by car. We suggest taking a boat trip in the reserve, to make the most of the unspoilt little caves and coves, and the crystal-clear seawater. The Ancient Greek site of the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, and the largest archaeological Park in Europe Selinunte Acropolis, are also easily reachable by car in less than an hour. Bicycle lovers can ride along the old disused railway turned cycle track, and the Verdura resort golf course is within easy reach, as well. Finally, for a day trip to a busy city of culture, full of wonders and great for shopping, you can also reach Palermo in about an hour and a half.

Es handelt sich um eine absolut…
Es handelt sich um eine absolut wundervolle Anlage mit sehr großzügigem Interieur und vielen Terrassen. Die Ausstattung ist sehr hochwertig und es ist sehr ruhig. Der wunderschöne Ausblick rundet alles ab. Selectsicily hat alles sehr gut organisiert.

Casa da Sogno!
Casa da favola concepita ed arredata con gusto, dove la privacy è garantita. Vista sul litorale mozzafiato. Rispondente alle foto ed alle descrizioni. Solo un piccolo consiglio: Doterei anche la zona giorno di condizionatore. È stata un fantastica esperienza e la pubblicizzeremo sicuramente. Consigliatissima.

Il nostro paradiso
Siamo stati ospiti di Casa Alba a Sciacca e l’esperienza è stata meravigliosa
La villa è davvero ben strutturata, silenziosa, fresca.
Le rifiniture degli interni in legno sono davvero bellissime. La cucina incredibile, grande e dotata di ogni elettrodomestico
La piscina esterna è davvero un sogno come pure il giardino.
Il paesaggio, la pace e la quiete che si possono gustare da Casa Alba, rendono questa struttura davvero indimenticabile!!

A fabulous first Sicilian experience.
We had a wonderful holiday with Select Sicily and thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful setting of Casa Alba, just outside Sciacca.
The villa absolutely lived up to the photographs, and the setting and view from the pool was simply stunning. For a family of four, the pool was definitely big enough and the adjacent dining terrace was used every day for either lunch or evening meals - it's a very tranquil spot.
With a supermarket literally 500m down the road we were able to pop back and forth whenever we wanted to pick up food and cook at home (relatively) stress free. The porch area provided a super shady spot to while away the evening and watch the sun go down, while the kids chilled (literally!) in the air conditioned bedrooms.
Location-wise, this is a great spot for exploring all the amazing temples on the Western side of Sicily, but you can still mix it up with vineyards, non-touristy beaches and quirky hilltop towns with monasteries, churches and ruins, popping back to the villa in good time for a cooling swim (much to the kids relief!). Our visit coincided with a food festival in Sciacca which really saw the town come to life - it was buzzing!
Casa Alba is a beautiful and well equipped villa. We had a thorough handover (and hand-back) with the keyholder and all-in, this was one of the most relaxing family holidays we have had in years.

Wonderful house in a great area of Sicily!
Gorgeous, spacious, clean, modern villa with a beautiful view from lovely patio with infinity pool and very attractively landscaped gardens. Fantastic patio / outdoor areas including a wood burning pizza oven and bbq.
Two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (however neither ensuite). Air conditioning in bedrooms only however not a problem even on hot days – breezeway and open doors kept the house cool enough.
Excellent kitchen and laundry facilities. Chickens on the far end of the property (not disturbing) even provided fresh eggs!

5 stars, absolutely!
The booking, arrival & introductio absolutely perfect. A wonderful villa & pool with a view better than any TV program. The villa is very well equipped, cleaning service once a week, a very friendly gardener twice a week, he also takes care of the pool.
Straight down the hill is a nice beach and Sciacca a quaint little town
This place is gorgeous and easy to reach from Palermo airport.
