Serena is a beautiful modern villa recently built in the Menfi area, close to the stunning sandy beaches of Lido Fiori and Portopalo in Menfi, both well known for their clear, blue water – Blue Flag 17 years in a row, and Green Flag – also recommended as safe beaches for children.
This beautiful well-designed property seated atop a hill offers a peaceful and elegant atmosphere, with its marvellous 17 meters-long pool is a perfect place to surround yourself with the tranquility and silence of an uncontaminated countryside, ideal for those wishing to spend a recharging holiday, from the stressful city life.
Inside
Accommodation in Serena is all on one floor; a nice patio connects the two sleeping and living areas throughout a small corridor framed by floor-to-ceiling French doors. The airy and bright living area, tastefully decorated with understated, contemporary furniture offers panoramic views over the vineyard and the sea.
Sliding glass walls in the living area and the kitchen diner bring in the glorious views and allow for a seamless indoor-outdoor lifestyle.
Here we find a beautiful, modern, fully furnished kitchen with a large wooden peninsula where is possible to dine, if not willing to enjoy the outdoor area.
A beautiful, vintage design, red chandelier, above the peninsula, perfectly fits into the sober minimal decor of the living area.
The glass doors’ aisle leads to the three double bedrooms; the master bedroom, large and comfortable, features an ensuite shower bathroom and a walk-in closet. The remaining two bedrooms with double beds, share a modern bathroom with a shower.
All rooms are framed by full-length glass doors which allow the light going inside the house, put the interior in direct contact with the property’s spectacular surroundings and give direct access to the panoramic pool area.
Outside
Outdoor spaces are modern and comfortable, the porch between the two sides, pool and back garden, is the core of the house.
In Serena, al fresco areas are a seamless continuation of the interiors, both in terms of design and materials.
The 17-metre-long pool offers swimmers superb views out over the surrounding countryside and out to sea.
The porch features a contemporary design conversation corner on the poolside, and a marvellous dining area on the rear close to the barbecue area.
A large covered barbecue zone with sink and stone worktops complete this area. Next to the barbecue, we find a very comfortable solarium with an outdoor shower covered by a wooden cube.
