Villa Acropolis is a gorgeous holiday Villa situated near the archeological park of Selinunte, the biggest in Europe, as well as near the Selinunte fishing village, with its fine exclusive beaches. The enchanting position, between olive and citrus groves, is graced by the awe-inspiring views of the ancient temples.
The villa is of recent construction, with modern interiors designed from the ground up to generate a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Access to the villa is granted by a cozy small living area giving onto a fully-equipped kitchen which in turns gives into the stunning main living room: this space is connected to the pool area thanks to three wide glass doors, which provide plentiful natural light.
Clever design allows this light to brightening up every corner of the ground floor. A comfortable bathroom is also available on this floor.
On the first floor there are three double bedrooms, one of which with en-suite bathroom. The other two bedrooms have access to an amazing panoramic terrace, which not only affords a wonderful view over the pool area and the countryside, but also allows for your eyes to marvel at the sight of the ancient temples. A further bathroom is also present on this floor.
Villa Acropolis is also equipped with an annex, right next to the main entrance, with a double bedroom, a bathroom, and a kitchen complete with dining area. Privacy of the guests is however the main concern, so the annex is never rented out separately.
The outdoor terrace, complete with BBQ area and a splendid heated pool, will let you truly relax throughout your day and enjoy your vacation to the fullest. Being just 1,5 kilometers from both the archaeological park and the sandy beaches, as well as the shops, cafes and restaurants, this villa location is perfect for every kind of vacation.

Villa Acropolis is located just one and a half km from the largest archeological park in Europe and it is close to some of the most beautiful beaches of Sicily’s western coast.
Selinunte Acropolis, once a large settlement at the westernmost reaches of Magna Graecia, looms upon a low promontory above the sparkling Mediterranean.
A stunning view of the ruins can be had if you swim out from the beach at Marinella and look toward land.
Marinella di Selinunte is only 1 km away and it also offers many shops and restaurants as well as its famous sandy beach.
Within a short distance is Castelvetrano, a nice medieval town, well known for its olive-oil production and for the delicious black bread made with an ancient Sicilian durum wheat flour called “tumminia”. In the Castelvetrano Civic Museum the famous archaic-style, bronze statue of the “Efebo di Selinunte” is displayed.
Heading west for about 20 km, you will reach Menfi with its beautiful beaches of Portopalo and Lido Fiori. These beaches received the “Bandiera Blu” (Blue flag) award for their clear blue waters and high quality environmental standards.
The lovely seaside town of Sciacca is well known for its typically glazed craft pottery and coral jewelry work as well as for the Carnival celebrations. It is only 30 km away by car and you will also find a small commercial fishing harbor (fresh fish, anyone!) and fine, sandy beaches.
The most impressive group of monuments of all Magna Graecia are to be found in The Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, about an hour’s drive. It lies in a almost enchanted valley, full of almond blossom in Febuary.
Within easy range are Trapani and Marsala. On the way between these two towns you simply must stop off at the Salt Pans Nature Reserve, take in the other worldly scenery and not fail to watch the sun setting over the sea. In Tapani it is also possible to board a hydrofoil or ferry and visit the Aegadi Island Archipelago.
To enjoy a stunning view over Aegadi Islands and Trapani Salt Pans we suggest a trip to the pretty medieval town of Erice (751 m a.s.l.) which is well worth a visit!
A little bit further north is San Vito Lo Capo, which has a good selection of shops, restaurants and bars as well as its beautiful sandy beaches and the Zingaro Nature Reserve.
Finally, if you wish to visit a vibrant city full of art and culture, we suggest you spend a day in Palermo which is only one and a half hours by car!
